Mechanical vibration e.g. structure-borne noise, detection device for vehicle, has evaluation device evaluating vibrations detected by sensor device, and frequency detection device determining frequency parameters of vibrations
The device has a sensor device (2) for detecting mechanical vibrations, and an evaluation device (6) for evaluating the detected mechanical vibrations. A frequency detection device (5) is provided for determining frequency parameters of the detected mechanical vibrations and is signal-technically connected with the sensor device and the evaluation device. A controller (7) is provided for frequency modulation of the detected mechanical vibrations and signal-technically connected with the sensor device. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a passenger protection device for a vehicle, comprising a detection device (2) a method for direction-sensitive detection of mechanical vibrations.
