The method involves selecting a sequence with a period, and producing a lower sequence with a length from the sequence. Another sequence is produced with another length from the lower sequence and moved around chips. The chips are removed at the positions from the former sequence. The reduced former sequence is combined with the latter sequence to obtain a pseudo random sequence of the latter length. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for producing pseudo random spreading sequence for a code multiplex access process in a satellite navigations system; (2) a satellite navigations system comprising a set of satellites; (3) a transmitter formed on a transmission channel to access signals that is to be transmitted; and (4) a receiver to receive signals that are coded by widening codes.
