The guide rail for linear roller bearings is made up of rail sections (1) which fit on to rack sections (2) whose teeth (6) are mounted on their sides. The ends (3) of the rack sections meet in butt joints and the ends (4) of the rails also meet in butt joints which are offset from those in the rack sections.
