The support has a fixed part of body of motor vehicle, and an anchor (3) arranged at a back rest. The fixed part of the body has a unit for receiving the anchor and a bosh unit (4). A spring unit is connected with the anchor, where the spring unit is brought in contact with the bosh unit in a lockable manner. The spring unit e.g. flat spring (5) includes a recess (6) in which the bosh unit engages. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a support arrangement for a backrest of a vehicle seat (2) a backrest of vehicle seat (3) a method for assembling the back rest of the seat.
