The device has a computer (1) with a response time counter activated for a specific free time with presentation of a subject identifier and a stimulus, while the computer determines whether and when evaluation dependent message types take place. The stimulus is shifted to the identifier and presented on the monitor. An input device producing messages is arranged such that the operator distance to the input device is constant.
