FIELD: method for cutting off a line for removing unneeded links of line with nodes and structure of links in three-dimensional image.;SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method it is determined whether nodes of line of three-dimensional image, subject to being projected onto a plane, inside or outside displayed volume, by comparing values along axis z for these nodes to values along axis z for cross-section plane relatively to position of center of projection, while cut-off plane is positioned between location of center of projection and projection plane, calculated are points of intersection of cut-off plane and links, connecting nodes of line, new line is built using calculated intersection points and nodes, located inside displayed volume. Also stated are methods of displaying of three-dimensional image with usage of line cut-off.;EFFECT: decreased volume and increased efficiency of calculations, and also increased element displaying speed during displaying of three-dimensional images.;6 cl, 22 dwg
