FIELD: aeronautical engineering; filling tanks of fire-fighting aircraft with water at hydroplaning.;SUBSTANCE: proposed system is provided with water intake unit, water duct with inlet branch pipes and water intake pipe lines. Water intake unit is mounted behind planing step in parallel with its lower edge. Water intake unit is made in form of scoop with mechanism for its motion; hydraulic cylinder of this mechanism is located in pressurized compartment; it may lock scoop in two extreme positions. Scoop is controlled by means of lever of bell crank of intermediate axle located in water intake unit body. Second lever rigidly secured on this axle is articulated with side member of scoop by means of rod. Water intake unit is provided with damper located in its body and is used for shutting-off inlet branch pipe of water duct when scoop is in the stowed position; lever is rigidly connected with pivot axle of damper mounted in parallel with intermediate axle in zone of pressurized compartment in water intake unit body. System is also provided with mechanism for conversion of continuous motion into motion with periodic stops which includes driven fork and drive circular sector rigidly secured on intermediate axle and bounded by cylindrical surface; it is also provided with projecting pin engageable with slot of driven fork rigidly secured on axle with lever connected with lever of damper turn axle.;EFFECT: enhanced operational reliability; reduced mass of system.;6 dwg
