A system and a method for providing a service for capturing a screen and checking a location of a character in an online game are provided to enable a character rearing agent to monitor various scenes and situations occurring while a level of a character of a client is raised up to the desired level, and display a current location of the character in a map. A game server(500) provides a game through the Internet. Each agent terminal(510a-510n) includes voice support software and plays the character of the client. A database server(520) stores agent/client information and information transceived between the agent and the client. Each client terminal(530a-530n) includes the voice support software and receives the needed information by accessing the database server. The agent terminal extracts game progress information from the game server and transmits the extracted information to the database server. The client terminal receives the requested information from the database server by transmitting the needed information to the database server.
