METHOD OF DISTRIBUTING GID IN PLC NETWORK, METHOD OF RECEIVING GID IN PLC NETWORK, APPARATUS FOR AUTHORIZATION IN PLC NETWORK, AND PLC DEVICE
A method for distributing a GID(Group ID) in a PLC(Power Line Communication) network, a method for receiving GID, apparatus for authorization in the PLC network and a PLC device are provided to distribute GID between the PLC device and the authorization apparatus by implementing an authorization function in a PLC MAC(Media Access Control) layer, thereby improving the convenience for a user by automatically inputting the GID to the PLC device. A method for distributing a GID(Group ID) in a PLC(Power Line Communication) network comprises the following steps of: receiving a GID request message from the PLC device(S21); denying the GID request by ignoring the GID request message when an authorization mode is a non-permission mode(S23); and selecting or generating a GID corresponded to the PLC device in a pre-stored GID list when the authorization mode is a permission mode and transmitting the selected or generated GID to the PLC device(S24,S25,S26).
