A method for transmitting key data in a wireless sensor network is provided to adjust a security level according to a security importance of the wireless sensor network by adjusting combination complexity of key data and scramble data according to the security level. A method for transmitting key data in a wireless sensor network includes the steps of dividing the key data to be transmitted into a predetermined number of blocks according to a security level(S5); dividing scramble key data having the same size with the key data and randomly generated into blocks of the same number as the key block(S7); and mixing and generating the key data block and the scramble key data block, and generating a plurality of key combination data having the same size as the key data(S9). The number of blocks of the key data and the scramble key data divided according to a security level are calculated by an equation one as follows Ks=(n)k, wherein n is a natural number. The key combination data is generated as much as the number of n.
