Provided is a method for planting tree on the cut-side to allow the diversity of the species of living things on the spot to be restored by improving the efficiency of tree planting. The method comprises the steps of acquiring the external seeds similar to those on the spot; selecting the seeds to be sewed on the cut-side; testing the sprouting power of the selected seeds; mixing the tested seeds according to the design; treating the seeds so as to allow the sprouting power to be maintained; treating the seeds to promote the sprouting power; packaging the treated seeds; forming a planting base where the seeds are sewed; and adhering the planting base containing no seed on the cut-side and adhering the planting base containing seed.
