APPARATUS FOR MODULATION AND DEMODULATION BY USING TRANSMISSION METHOD BY LINEAR PRECODER, LATTICE REDUCTION, AND HARD-DECISION AND SOFT-DECISION DEMODULATION METHOD APPLIED CHASE DETECTION IN THE MULTICARRIER SYSTEM USING MULTIPLE ANTENNA
An apparatus for transmitting and receiving in a multi-carrier system using a multiple antenna is provided to improve performance by using a space diversity of the multiple antenna and a frequency diversity of an OFDMA system together. In an apparatus for modulation and demodulation by using a linear precoder in a multicarrier system using a multiple antenna, a modulator(101) modulates a binary signal inputted as the transmitting data into BPSK, QPSK, 16QAM, and 64QAM. An LCF(Linear Complex Field) encoder(102) receives the modulated symbols from the modulator(101) and performs precoding of the modulated symbols by using a linear complex matrix. A subcarrier allocator(103) allocates the precoded and modulated symbols from the LCF encoder(102) to subcarriers. A transmitter(104) transmits a signal through a plurality of transmitting antennas. A receiver(105) receives the transmitted signal by using at least one or a plurality of receiving antennas. A subcarrier deallocator(106) allocates the received signal from the receiver(105) to the subcarriers. A LCF decoder(107) decodes the signal from the subcarrier deallocator(106) according to the linear complex matrix.
