SUPPORT MEANS END CONNECTION FOR FASTENING AN END OF A SUPPORT MEANS IN A LIFT INSTALLATION, A LIFT INSTALLATION WITH A SUPPORT MEANS END CONNECTION, AND A METHOD FOR FASTENING AN END OF A SUPPORT MEANS IN A LIFT INSTALLATION
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optimized support means end connection part certainly transmitting baggage-resistance force of a support means at a maximum.;SOLUTION: This invention relates to the support means end connection part for fastening the support means end in the elevator device. The support means comprises a cable or a cable strand; and a cable casing for surrounding the cable or a cable strand composite body. According to the invention, the cable casing substantially comprises a thermoplastic synthetic material or an elastomer and the cable or the cable strand is adhered, fused or mechanically connected to the cable casing at an area of the support means end connection part. Friction force transmitted from the support means end connection part to the cable casing is directly transmitted to a core receiving load of the support means and is directed to the cable or the cable strand.
