A continuously variable, at least temporarily power-split transmission, especially for a motor vehicle, comprises a drive shaft which can be driven by an engine, a variator with continuously changing gear ratios, a gear set, a driven shaft, at least two steering clutches by means of which the variator and the gear set can be connected in such a manner that the range of variation of the variator is repeatedly covered when the entire range of gear ratios is covered.
