Cyclone-type dust-collecting apparatus for vacuum cleaner has self-cleaning mechanism for cyclone overflow grill which automatically removes fine dust covering grill and operates when cleaner is on
A dirt-collecting receptacle (20) is removably connected to the cyclone body for collecting dust and dirt separated by centrifugal force created by the cyclone ream inside the cyclone body. A grill (30) is disposed at beginning of the air discharge port of the cyclone body for preventing dust and dirt separated from air from reverse flowing through the air discharge port of cyclone body. The grill has a number of paths extending through it to communicate with the air discharge port. A grill cleaning member automatically removes fine dust covering the grill and operates when the cleaner is on. The apparatus includes a cyclone body (10) having an air inlet port (11) and an air discharge port and an inner cyclone body for forming a cyclone stream of air, including dust and dirt flown in through the air inlet port.
