A process for predicting the latent course of infectious inflammatory diseases of any location by the echostructural alterations revealed in thyroid comprises the serologic examination. The echography and Doppler mapping of the thyroid are performed. The detection of the colloid cavity (4-7 mm) with hyperechogenicity and without the central and peripheral blood circulation within the cavity is indicative of the latent course of infectious inflammatory diseases of any location.
