The proposed method for detecting prohibited narcotic substances in mixture with drugs in human urine implies the extraction of these substances and the analysis of the extract by two-dimensional thin-layer chromatography. To treat the extract, solvent that contains toluene, acetone, ethanol, and 25 % ammonia solution, with the ratio of 45:45:7.5:2.5 between the components, and solvent that contains hexane and acetone, with the ratio of 2:1 between the contents of the components, are used. To identify the narcotic substances, 1 % solution of ninhydrin in acetone and the corresponding reagent are used.
