The game comprises a playing surface with symbols on it, a dice and a list of personal questions around a specific theme such as New Year's Eve, phase of life, birthday, season, period, education, job, therapeutic situation, making friends, separation or other event. The playing surface can be printed on or projected onto a substrate, or it can comprise pieces which are combined to form a figure or shape chosen by the players, such as a pentagon, circle, triangle, cross, figure of eight or star. The starting and finishing positions on the board are the same. The game does not produce a winner or loser, the aim is for the players to tell each other stories relating to their experiences, hopes, memories, acquaintances, intentions, insights, dreams, wishes and fears, so that they get to know each other better.
