The method involves sending an identification belonging to a position, and a half identification belonging to another position i.e. destination position that is remotely located from the former position, to a collective database server. A route is determined from the former position to the latter position utilizing the identifications received by the collective database server. Selective route information is transmitted from the collective database server to a mobile device (2). The mobile device is utilized to display the received selective route information. An independent claim is also included for a system for providing selective routing information.
