The artificial ecological coral reef system is for use in outdoor fish farm projects and is composed of specially formulated cement types cast in a preformed replica of a natural coral shape, forming a natural artificial colored coral. The materials used are pH neutral and contain no harmful chemicals. Also, the accompanying ballast container is user-friendly for its position in all customary locations. The artificial coral reef is firmly attached to the ballast containers which anchor it to the seabed. Both the ballast containers and the coral reef have apertures and through passages, providing stimulation for the development of micro-organisms. With different spacing, the ballast containers are provided with n atural hemp ropes around their periphery, which are able thus to move with occurring flows and tides. This allows micro-organisms from the sea and seabed to settle on and adhere to the ropes, conducive to the promotion of the food chain of the eco-system.
