摘要

A computerized tomography (CT) imaging scanner (10) module comprises scintillators, back-illuminated photodiodes optically coupled with the scintillators, a multi-layer substrate having substrate electrical conductors to which the photodiodes are electrically coupled, and a flexible cable having flex electrical conductors to which the substrate is electrically coupled. Each substrate conductor is connected to a different photodiode. Each flex conductor is connected to a different output from the multi-layer substate. An independent claim is also included for an imaging system comprising an X-ray source (14); and an X-ray detector module (18) positioned to receive X-rays emitted from the source and including scintillators facing the X-ray source, back-illuminated photodiodes optically coupled with the scintillators, a multi-layer substrate electrically coupled with the back-illuminated photodiodes, and a flexible cable electrically coupled with the multi-layer substrate.
