Hip abduction orthosis for stabilizing the hip joint of a small child includes a trunk engaging part coupled to two thigh engaging parts each with an abduction angle coupled to a distance
Hip abduction orthosis (1) includes two thigh engaging parts (4,6) each connected to the trunk engaging part (2) by two coupling parts (8,10). The thigh engaging parts wrap around the thighs of the child. Trunk engaging part covers the trunk and has two belts (22) at its upper portion to be wrapped around the child's waist. A distance between a thigh engaging part and the trunk engaging part can be set. An abduction angle of each thigh engaging part can also be set. The distance and the abduction angle are coupled.
