: TAB ORGNISER™ (Medicine Box with Tablet Cutter) ABSTRACT This Medicine Box is an aerodynamic shaped, almost rectangular and has a hinged lid acting as a Cap, for opening and closing the top. The bottom of the box has storage space for tablet strips, prescribed for the complete course. Above this storage space, a four-compartment tray rests. The compartments in the tray are individually marked as Morning, Afternoon, Evening and Night, and are meant for storing the tablets required for the respective sessions of that day. When the top lid is opened, it rests in an obtuse angle with respect to tray. The inner face of this lid, which is facing the tray, has a sticker with printed tabular column for listing out the entire set of tablets and their dosages, prescribed by the doctor for each session. Since the tablets prescribed keep changing, a pencil (instead of pen) is provided for listing out the tablets. The pencil is micro-tip variety (and hence there is no need for a sharpener) and has a built in eraser at its back for erasing the earlier medicine list and writing the new list. A distinct and convenient place is provided in the tray for storing this pencil. Most often, the doctors prescribe half a tablet or quarter tablet as a dose per session. For convenience, a tablet cutter is provided for this purpose. The Tablet Cutter is also an aerodynamically shaped, almost rectangular, three-piece unit, which firmly fits into any of the compartments in the tray in the longitudinal direction. This Tablet Cutter (Three-piece unit) has a bottom box, top cap with blade fitment and a center plate for placing the tablet.
