PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blocking agent for a carrier immobilizing organism-related molecules, which effectively inhibits and prevents the organism-related molecules from nonspecifically attaching to the carrier of the organism-related molecules and can detect the organism-related molecules with high sensitivity, and to provide a blocking method and a kit for detecting the organism-related molecules using the same.;SOLUTION: The blocking agent for the carrier immobilizing the organism-related molecules includes a silane coupling agent, thereby effectively inhibiting the organism-related molecules from nonspecifically attaching to the carrier of the organism-related molecules and thereby enabling the organism-related molecules to be detected with the high sensitivity. Furthermore, a solid support body having a carbon layer on its surface is used in combination with the above blocking agent, thereby enabling a high sensitive detection to be carried out by using a TOF-MS.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
