PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a compound having a high rate of polymerization and giving a molding having excellent heat resistance and toughness by reacting a (meth)acrylic acid oligoester obtained by reacting (meth)acrylic acid and/or a hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate with fumaric acid and a polyhydric alcohol component with a polyisocyanate compound. SOLUTION: The unsaturated urethane (meth)acrylate compound contains at least one fumarate group and at least one urethane bond in at least two branches extending from the organic group and is terminated with a (meth) acrylate group. A compound having such a structure is represented by formula I (R1 is H or methyl; R2 and R3 are each a divalent organic group; R4 is an n-valent organic group; and n is 2 or greater). Desirably R2 is any one of formulas II to VI. The terminal (meth)acrylate group acts as a crosslinking site when the compound is copolymerized with various polymerizable monomers.
