PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and flexibly provide a user with the trial of a functionally- extended new system.;SOLUTION: An extensible function used as an object for trial is previously stored as software (program) or hardware in a storage part 25 of the system. When a user wants to try the function, the user instructs the system to that effect through a display panel 23 or the like. When receiving the instruction (including the start, end, period extension, and the like of the trial), the system side provides the corresponding function so as to be suitable for the instruction.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
