PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To estimate the speed of a virtual object due to throwing and kicking operations without actually requiring throwing or kicking such object as a ball in an exercise data estimation device for measuring the throwing speed, for example, in a ball game and the speed of a kicked ball. SOLUTION: When a watch body 11 is mounted to the wrist of one's dominant hand and a throwing operation is made, an integral value (x) of acceleration data associated with the throwing operation being detected by an acceleration sensor 12 is detected. Then, the acceleration integral value (x) where throwing is detected is substituted in an equation of first degree y=ax+b as a throwing ball speed estimation expression with obtained coefficient (a) and constant (b) by the least square method where the integral value of the detection acceleration being obtained by the throwing trial of a subject in advance is set to (x) and each actually measured throwing speed is set to (y), thus estimating and calculating a throwing speed (y). As a result, a single user can estimate a throwing ball speed without any need for a user to throw an actual ball or any third party to measure the speed of a thrown ball using a speed gun.
