Problem to be solved: to provide a disease control material using a substance which does not use chemical pesticides and which is not effectively used, and a disease control method using the material.Problem to be solved: to provide a disease control material of a plant in which soy sauce oil is used as an effective ingredient and a disease control method of the plant to disperse the disease control material to the plant or to irrigate the soil. The disease control material contains 0.01 to 100% by volume of soy sauce oil, and can further contain surface active substances. These materials and methods can control diseases of plants brought from fungi or bacteria.
