PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict the advance of compound deterioration due to salt damage and carbonation in a technique for predicting deterioration in a concrete structure.;SOLUTION: The deterioration prediction method of a concrete structure predicts the advance of deterioration due to the salt damage and carbonation of the concrete structure by analyzing various kinds of deterioration factors using a finite element method. The progress of compound deterioration is expressed by a chemical reaction expression including a hydration product in concrete and carbon dioxide in the atmosphere at one side and calcium carbonate at the other side, and a reversible chemical expression containing calcium carbonate, an aluminum acid, and chloride at one side, and Friedel salt and a carbon dioxide gas at the other side.
