PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To objectively and concretely evaluate the identification performance of a visible camera to a noise according to numerics. PSOLUTION: The arithmetic operation of noise equivalent NEXD, NEYD and NEZD is performed from tristimulus values BSBX/SB, Y and Z of the reflected rays of light of a visible camera 6, tristimulus values X, Y and Z at a signal side and tristimulus values XSBN/SB, YSBN/SBand ZSBN/SBof a noise. The noise equivalent NEXD, NEYD and NEZD are converted into parameters ΔLSP*/SP, ΔaSP*/SPand ΔbSP*/SPin an LSP*/SPaSP*/SPbSP*/SPcolor system. The arithmetic operation of the numerics of noise equivalent luminance difference NEED in an Lab space is performed from the parameters ΔLSP*/SP, ΔaSP*/SPand ΔbSP*/SPin the LSP*/SPaSP*/SPbSP*/SPcolor system. Thus, it is possible to express the noise equivalent luminance difference in a three-dimensional color space, and to objectively and concretely evaluate the identification performance of a visible camera to a noise according to the numerics.
