PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a Nrf2 activator enhancing antioxidant biophylaxis mechanism against oxidation stress by activating Nrf2 which is a transcription factor protein inducing gene expression of an enzyme group relating to antioxidant biophylaxis mechanism of living organism against oxidation stress, and a skin care preparation, cosmetic, and food and drink formulated with the same, especially an activator which activates Nrf2 in consideration of the fact that the Nrf2 existing in cytoplasm transfers to the nuclei by growth of the oxidation stress and accumulates to activate transcription in expression process of the antioxidizing enzyme group and to provide a Nrf2 activator and a skin care preparation and cosmetic formulated with the activator.;SOLUTION: The transcription facter Nrf2 activator comprises at least on of the extract of vegetables belonging to genus Pratia, genus Citrus or Curcuma domestica.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
