PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a raw material solution for manufacturing a cross-linking, curing type nonlinear optical material in relation to the cross-linking, curing type organic nonlinear optical material having excellent nonlinear optical performance and superior stability and being superior in manufacturability by avoiding the problems associated with coagulation and crystallization, and to provide the nonlinear optical material, having the superior nonlinear optical performance and the superior stability and a nonlinear optical element at a low cost by using the raw material solution.;SOLUTION: The raw material solution for manufacturing the nonlinear optical material with a wet method is characterized by containing a nonlinear optically active organic compound with at least one or more cross-linking functional groups, wherein further the nonlinear optically active organic compound is a tertiary amine derivative represented by general Formula (1).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
