PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thin film development structure, a thin film developing method, and thin film development unit and system, capable of developing a developed thin film from a thin film cylinder without looseness, changing a development position of a development thin film, and exchanging the development thin film. PSOLUTION: The outermost peripheral portion 6a of the thin film cylinder 6 wounded to a winding-up member 3 can be pressed a retainer 4, and the thin film 5 is wound up or back while pressing by the retainer 4 is released. The thin film extending from the winding-up member 3 is held as the development thin film 2 while the thin film 5 is pressed by the retainer 4. The winding-up member 3 and the retainer 4 are synchronously rotated about the winding-up member 3 in the pressing state by the retainer 4, thereby changing the development position of the development thin film 2.
