PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable telephone terminal with an electromagnetic interference suppression function capable of suppressing electromagnetic faults to an interfered apparatus without damaging the convenience of a portable telephone terminal user, an electromagnetic interference suppression system and a method for suppressing electromagnetic interference in the terminal and the system. PSOLUTION: The portable telephone terminal 20 is provided with; a direction detection means for receiving an identification signal transmitted from an interfered apparatus identification signal transmitter 21 built in the interfered apparatus which may suffer electromagnetic interference by a plurality of directivity antenna units 10, 11, 12 and detecting the existing direction of the interfered apparatus; and an electromagnetic wave discharging means for discharging electromagnetic waves to a direction in which the interfered apparatus is not influenced by electromagnetic waves while evading the existing direction of the interfered apparatus which is detected by the direction detection means.
