PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a contact means with a monitoring center from the inside of an elevator car and take proper measures to the situation in the elevator car quickly when an emergency situation arises.;SOLUTION: A code seal 33 is stuck to the inside of the elevator car 3a. A two dimensional code including access information to the monitoring center 6 is printed in this code seal 33. When the emergency situation arises and the two dimensional code is read by using a terminal unit 4, this remote monitoring system is connected with a monitoring device 5 in the monitoring center 6, and guidance information for confirming situation is fed into the terminal unit 4 from the monitoring device 5 to explain the situation by answering it.
