PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an arrester system which can be implemented easily and has a high lightning protection effect.;SOLUTION: A structure to be protected against lightning is formed with a film wherein fine conductive particles are so distributed as to be insulated from each other. This film is connected to ground. Usually, the film is insulating and never disturbs a field distribution. On lightning strike, the conductive particles contained in the film discharge, causing a space among the conductive particles to become a conducting state and forming a current passage having a low resistance and a low inductance between the point of lightning strike and ground. The lightning current is caused to flow in this passage and thereby the structure to be protected against lightning can be protected against any damages by lightning strike.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
