PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a repairing method being simply applicable by sticking a patching film which is formed of multicolor pattern paint having the same composition as a paint film and has prescribed thickness to the broken part of a multicolor pattern paint film using an adhesive agent. ;SOLUTION: A patching film which is formed by painting multicolor pattern paint to a peelable surface and peeling off it after drying and has the thickness of 50-500μ is preserved, and cut according to the area of a repaired part and stuck to it using an adhesive agent for producing an outside appearance where a repaired face and an existing paint film are unified without causing a sense of incompatibility. The patching film becomes larger in floating out from the existing paint film when its thickness becomes thicker than 500μ, and is recognized with the sense of incompatibility between the patching film surface and the existing paint film. On the other hand, when the patching film becomes thinner than 50μ, it is difficult to cut as the patching film. Thus it is unnecessary for repair to prepare the multicolor pattern paint being the same in hue as the existing paint film or to carry out the painting needing skill of the multicolor paint.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
