PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing trivalent manganese, by which the trivalent manganese can efficiently and repeatedly be obtained in a stable yield without deteriorating the activity of an enzyme and repeatedly use the same, while using the manganese peroxidase in a liquid without immobilizing the enzyme, and to provide a method for effectively producing an oxidation reaction product at a low cost using the trivalent manganese obtained by the production method, by which the oxidation reaction product can efficiently be produced.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the trivalent manganese, comprising oxidizing divalent manganese in the presence of a manganese peroxidase, is characterized by having the first process for oxidizing the divalent manganese with an oxidizing agent in the presence of the manganese peroxidase in water or an aqueous solution or in a mixture solvent of water or an aqueous solution with an organic solvent to produce the trivalent manganese, and the second process for separating the manganese peroxidase from the reaction solution containing the trivalent manganese by a fractionation method using a membrane.
