PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with which a super high-definition image is displayed with high speed and at a low cost.;SOLUTION: A super high-definition projection type display 10 is equipped with: a laser scanning driver 11; lenses 12; a thermal writing liquid crystal panel 13 on which an image written with a laser beam is recorded; a color filter R14; a color filter G15 and a color filter B16; mirrors 17a and 17b; half mirrors 18a-18c; a lamp 19; lenses 20; and a screen 21, and the thermal writing liquid crystal panel 13 is equipped with: a substrate 13a; a heat absorbing layer 13b formed on the substrate 13a; a reflection electrode 13c formed on the heat absorbing layer 13b; an alignment layer 13d formed on the reflection electrode 13c; a substrate 13e; a transparent electrode 13f formed on the substrate 13e; an alignment layer 13g formed on the transparent electrode 13f; and a liquid crystal material 13h interposed between the alignment layer 13d and the alignment layer 13g.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
