PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crystalline diplophase hydrogen-permeation alloy which has hydrogen permeability and hydrogen embrittlement resistance and is usable at ≥473 K.;SOLUTION: The crystalline diplophase hydrogen permeation alloy of a diplophase Co-Ti-Nb system consists of the diplophase and the diplophase has a structure surrounding the TiNb phase that the eutectic (CoTi+TiNb) of a CoTi phase solutionizing Nb and a TiNb phase solutionizing Co generates as a primary crystal. The alloy has an alloy composition within the region surrounded by Co20Ti30Nb50, Co20Ti10Nb70, Co10Ti10Nb80, and Co10Ti30Nb60 (where alloy compositions are all by atom%) and on the line connecting Co20Ti30Nb50 to Co20Ti10Nb70 (where alloy compositions are all by atom%) on a Co-Ti-Nb ternary state diagram.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
