PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable wide variety of applications taking advantages inherent in nanoparticles by the steps of modifying the surface of nanodiamond particles to be monodispersed in a solvent, forming a film on the modified surface of nanocarbon particles so that it can be dispersed in organic solvents or made into composites with various resins.;SOLUTION: This carbon nanoparticle dispersion liquid is obtained as follows. To a solution of reversed micelle 10 in which a water drop 3 coated by AOT (a surfactant) 1 is dispersed in an organic solvent 2, nanodiamond particles 4 and ammonia which is a monodispersing functional substance for imparting polarity to the surface of the particles 4 are added and agitated to monodisperse the nanodiamond particles in the water drop of the reversed micelle 10, and further TEOS (tetraethoxysilane) solution is added and agitated to coat the surface of the nanodiamond particles with SiO2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
