PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely and quantitatively evaluate the uniform melting of the extrusion screw with high reliability by simulation due to CEA analysis without relying on a test operation, an experimental result, experience and results due to an actual machine. PSOLUTION: The constant volume part perfectly filled with a molten resin in a screw barrel is defined on the basis of the inputted specifications of the screw barrel and the analyzing target space formed by the constant volume part is divided into a large number of three-dimensional microelements while the temperatures of the molten resin at every microelement are calculated by numerical value analyzing operation corresponding to the inputted data showing the operation state of an extruder and the temperature histogram of the analyzing target space is formed from the calculated temperatures of the molten resin at every microelement. The average temperature of the molten resin in the analyzing target space is calculated from the temperatures of the molten resin at every microelement or the temperature histogram and the ratio value of the average temperature and the standard deviation of the temperature histogram is operated to be set as an evaluation index of uniform melting.
