PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a splitting method of an outer ring of a needle roller bearing, in which deformation volume around a split part is small.;SOLUTION: In a first step, V-shape grooves 12b having V-shape in-section are formed as cutout parts at two portions in an axial end surface on one side of the outer ring 12. In a second step, the outer ring 12 is put on a mounting base 17 with the V-shape groves 12b down. A groove 17a is formed at the center of the mounting base 17, and a space is formed around the V-shape grooves 12b. In a third step, a tool 18 applies a load in an orthogonal direction with respect to an end surface with no V-shape groove 12b.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
