PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for distributing only information really required by a user to the user in a PUSH type information distribution service utilizing a wireless LAN so as to simplify the management of a network and enhance the convenience of the user.;SOLUTION: The system provides an attribute of an information type name to information which the wireless LAN terminal desires to distribute and the information type name is selected equal to an SSID being an identification name of the network. Further, the information type name is selected equal to a host name of an information distribution server for distributing the information to the wireless LAN terminal. A user of the wireless LAN terminal can be connected to the network managed by the SSID of the same name as the information type name and access the information distribution server by having only to know the information type name desiring the distribution.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
