PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a user to promptly identify and access most relevant information. PSOLUTION: A metasearch engine 10 capable of accessing general web-based search engines 12, 14 and domain-relevant search engines 16, 18, 19 is provided to receive queries input by a user, and to search for documents on the general web-based search engines and domain-relevant search engines which are relevant to the queries. Raw data search results are fetched in a form of text documents from the search engines relevant to the search engine and regions of a general web base. Relevant data including semantic information are extracted from the raw data search results, and the data areconverted to a local format. The converted relevant data are visualized as a network (47).
