PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To present a recommendation list corresponding to the number of banquet guests and the holding time.;SOLUTION: This POS system comprises a self-order terminal installed in a banquet room to display item information based on a menu database collecting item information of food and drink corresponding to item IDs and to receive order input information from a user to transmit it to a POS computer, and the POS computer which processes the order input information from the self-order terminal and cooperates with the self-order terminal B in the banquet room A in starting a banquet in the banquet room A to extract the corresponding record by retrieving a banquet history database collecting a plurality of records including association of the holding time, the number of participants and the item list, based on the holding time and the number of participants of a banquet started in the banquet room A, to display the recommendation list created based on the item list, and item information of the recommendation list based on the menu database, on the self-order terminal and to receive order input information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
