PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high frequency switch with excellent durability and high reliability capable of obtaining a greater on/off-ratio, and to provide a high frequency transmitter, a high frequency receiver, a high frequency transmitter-receiver, and a radar apparatus provided with the high frequency switch.;SOLUTION: Since a propagation state that a cut-off frequency of transmission lines configuring a switch 1 is lower than a frequency of an electromagnetic wave propagating through a dielectric part 2 and a cut-off state that the cut-off frequency of the transmission lines is higher than the frequency of the electromagnetic wave propagating through the dielectric part 2 can be switched with each other, the propagation state and the cut-off state can easily be switched by changing a voltage applied to first and second electrodes 4a, 4b. When a switching mode of the switch 1 is in an off-state, since the switch 1 reaches the cut-off state, a high on/off-ratio can substantially be obtained.
