PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic sulfur composition capable of keeping occurrence of hydrogen sulfide and its dissolved amount in extremely low level even after long-term storage and capable of preventing odor of hydrogen sulfide and deterioration of discoloration with time and to provide a method for producing the organic sulfur composition and a method for removing hydrogen sulfide from an organic sulfur compound.;SOLUTION: The organic sulfur composition comprises (A) an organic sulfur compound in which removal treatment of dissolved hydrogen sulfide is carried out and (B) at least one kind of α, β-unsaturated compound selected from a group consisting of maleic acid, fumaric acid and its ester. The method for producing the organic sulfur composition comprises producing the organic sulfur composition composed of the organic sulfur compound (A) and the α, β-unsaturated compound (B) by removing the dissolved hydrogen sulfide from an organic sulfur compound in a liquid state containing the dissolved hydrogen sulfide in the presence of the α, β-unsaturated compound (B) and the organic peroxide (C). The method for removing hydrogen sulfide comprises removing hydrogen sulfide generated by decomposition of the organic sulfur compound (A) during storage of the organic sulfur compound (A).;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
