PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote monitoring system of a construction site which is capable of easily and accurately managing a progress status of the job site even from the head office of a construction company far away from the construction site, enables even a construction client far away from the construction site to easily grasp the progress status on the job site, and is also effective in suppressing illegal corner-cutting.;SOLUTION: The remote monitoring system of the construction site comprises a monitoring apparatus 10 including a network camera 11 capable of capturing video images of objects to be monitored on construction sites (71, 72, 73, 74), an audio input device 21 capable of inputting audio near the objects, and an audio output device 31 capable of outputting audio to the vicinity of the objects, and including a web server function. To the monitoring apparatus 10, an information terminal in the head office 75 of the construction company is connected via the Internet 41 and an information terminal of a construction client 76 is connected via the Internet. Video images and audio of the job site can be displayed and stored in a display device of any information terminal, and each of the relevant information terminals is utilized to manipulate the monitoring apparatus 10.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
