The fencer has a hydrogen fuel cell to deliver a supply voltage, and an electric processing circuit to transform the supply voltage into deterrent electric pulses applied to an electric fence. The fuel cell uses the hydrogen contained in a pressurized hydrogen reservoir placed in an available volume of the fencer, where the hydrogen is initially under a pressure of about 200 bars.
